Healthy snack — carrot sticks

A new recipe for a very light and simple snack. It is impossible to take oneself away from it. Due to its interesting look children will like it. They will absorb vitamins for both cheeks. And adults will like it with garlic sauce.

List of ingredients

  • 2 carrots
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
  • half a teaspoon of salt

For sauce

  • 2 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper

Start the process

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Take the carrots and cut off the lower and upper parts. Cut in half and each part for another three strips.
  3. Combine the vegetable oil, cheese, garlic powder, pepper, salt and parsley. Mix thoroughly and apply to carrot sticks.
  4. Put the parchment paper on the baking tray and place your sticks on it. Put them in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  5. After the necessary time take out and let them cool down.
  6. Make the sauce: combine yogurt, lemon juice, salt, pepper and garlic, crushed previously. Mix thoroughly.
  7. Serve together with carrot sticks.
