Chicken with honey


  • 50 g butter or margarine
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Grated rind of 1 lemon
  • 50 g flaked almonds
  • 1 tsp wholegrai mustard
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 chicken joints

Cooking Process

Cooking time: 25-30 minutes
Serves 4
Calories: 320 per person

1. Mix together the butter or margarine, honey, lemon rind, almonds, mustard and seasoning.
2. Spread the mixture all over the chicken joints.
3. Cook under a moderate grill for 25-30 minutes, turning the joints once and basting occasionally.
4. Serve the chicken with boiled parslied rice and a crisp green salad.
