Dinner without problems: burgers baked with potatoes

Very delicious dinner is cooked quickly, simply and without problems: potatoes with cutlets with sour cream sauce.

Potatoes in this dish is very delicious, delicate, with a ruddy, appetizing crust. Juicy tender cutlets literally melt in the mouth. And most of all I like this recipe because it does not take a long time to be near the cooker. Serve a great dish with a salad of fresh vegetables or pickled vegetables.

List of required products:

  • 1-2 kilograms of potatoes;
  • 500 grams of minced chicken meat;
  • 500 grams of minced beef meat;
  • one fresh chicken egg;
  • two onions;
  • one glass of oatmeal;
  • 100 grams of fresh fat;
  • wheat flour for breading;
  • salt and black ground pepper — to your own taste;

For sauce

  • one glass of fat sour cream;
  • one fresh chicken egg;
  • one tablespoon of your favorite ketchup;
  • salt and black ground pepper — to your own taste;
  • 100 milliliters of water.

Begin to cook


  1. The medium-sized potatoes are peeled, washed, poured into water and brought to a boiling condition. Boil them for two or three minutes, turn off the fire and drain the water. Potatoes should be boiled until they are half cooked.
  2. Pour a glass of oatmeal flakes with a small amount of boiling water and let them steam.
  3. In a deep bowl mix the chicken and beef minced meat, add a fresh bacon put through the meat grinder. Fat can be added at your own will, however, mind that it makes cutlets more juicy and tender.
  4. Here is small tip for you. For cooking these cutlets you can also use fat pork minced meat, but, of course, do not add fat in this case.
  5. Into the minced meat, add some onion, put through a meat grinder or crushed in a blender. We have taken two large onions.
  6. Add the steamed oat flakes to the minced meat, beat one chicken egg and mix well.
  7. In a separate bowl, we prepare the filling. Pour one glass of sour cream (we have taken 25% fat, but you can also use any other you like), add a tablespoon of ketchup and one chicken egg. We beat everything with a fork, salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Add the cold boiled water to the sauce and stir again. Your filling is ready.
  9. Deep baking tray should be covered with butter (or non-stick emulsion, which can be prepared according to the recipe from our site). Lay the potatoes to the center.
  10. On the perimeter we lay out our cutlets. We form them in this way: we take a tablespoon of minced meat, crumble in flour (or breadcrumbs) and round them off.
  11. Fill all the contents of the baking tray with sour cream sauce.
  12. We send the baking tray to the oven, heated up to 180 degrees. Bake for 35-45 minutes, until ruddy color appearance.
  13. We serve on a table with spicy tomatoes, marinated with grapes.
