  • onion — 2 heads;
  • vegetable oil (preferably sunflower) — 20 ml;
  • salt — to your taste;
  • chicken egg — 1 item;
  • potato starch — 1 tablespoon;
  • flavored pepper — to your taste;
  • liver (preferably beef) — 500 grams.

Begin to cook


  1. First of all, we take the liver. It is required to wash the product and to remove veins well. Cut into small pieces. Salt and pepper a little. We put it into a saucepan.
  2. Take a small bowl and beat chicken egg into it. Pour the starch into the egg. Using a fork, whip the mixture. When you finish whisking it, pour the egg with the starch to the chopped liver. Leave for 1 hour.
  3. We put a frying pan on the fire, pouring sunflower oil into it. As soon as it is heated, we put into it pieces of liver and begin to fry. It is required to fry it from two sides, spending for each not more than two minutes.
  4. We take onions and peel them. Now it is necessary to wash and to cut them. We cut it into semi-rings.
  5. We put the onion in a separate frying pan and put it on the fire, pouring the oil. Fry until it becomes clear.
  6. Finished onion is put to the liver. Stir and put on a small fire to stew. Stew for about 10-15 minutes.
  7. You can boil rice, buckwheat or make mashed potatoes and serve liver with them. After you cook the liver according to our recipe and try it, in the future you will not want to cook it in other ways!
