Yakitori chicken is usually appreciated by small barbells on skewers, which are considered to be very popular in Japan. Real yakitori chickens are made from chicken, but in many countries are also called small shish kebabs of meat, vegetables or seafood are also known quite well.
Yakitori is a popular Japanese dish, in fact it is grilled chicken grilled or cooked in an oven. They are made from any part of the chicken, including from the liver, ventricles, hearts, with skin and without skin.
There are several varieties of yakitori having different names depending on the part of the chicken that is used in the preparation. In the Japanese cuisine, meat dishes cooked on a grill, teppany are widely used.
List of required products:
- honey — 2 tbsp.;
- teriyaki sauce — 3 tbsp. l.;
- garlic — 1 clove;
- ginger root — 1 cm;
- chicken fillet — 600 g;
- vegetable oil — 2 tbsp.;
- wooden skewers.
Begin to cook
- Pre-soak the wooden skewers in warm water for 30 minutes. Chicken fillet has to be cut into long slices. Garlic and ginger root are cleaned and grated.
- Mix the sauce in the bowl together with honey, garlic and ginger. Put chicken and marinate for 1 hour.
- String fillets on skewers. Heat the oil in a frying pan and grill the fillets for 2-3 minutes from each side. Put on a large plate and serve to the table.
