This simple and quick way to prepare meat dumplings without many troubles will be appreciated by those who work much and do not have a lot of free time for cooking. Very tasty meat dumplings differ from standard ones only in form. A wonderful result, excellent delicious and hearty dinner: and as a bonus — a spare evening, spend with the family. Well, who can refuse such a thing?
List of required products:
- one fresh chicken egg;
- 250 milliliters of mineral fizzy water;
- half a teaspoon of salt and sugar;
- 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil odorless;
- 600 grams of wheat flour.
For the filling:
- 600 grams of any minced meat;
- garlic — 3 cloves;
- 3 onions;
- a third of a teaspoon of khmeli-suneli;
- one teaspoon of salt;
- 50 milliliters of milk.
Begin to cook
- For preparation of this kind of meat dumplings, any kind of dough will be suitable. We propose you to try our favorite recipe for dumplings, done on the base of mineral water.
- Into a deep bowl for the dough, beat one chicken egg, add salt and sugar (according to the recipe) and pour some vegetable oil.
- Mineral water is poured first into a glass, and then into a bowl with an egg. Mix with the help of the whisk.
- Gradually enter the sifted flour to the remaining ingredients, each time thoroughly mixing everything with a spatula.
- Continue kneading the dough on the table, adding the flour if it is necessary. Mind that as soon as the dough stops sticking to your hands, you do not need to pour any more flour.
- We put the soft and elastic dough into a bag, so that it does not get weaker.
- And this is the time we are preparing our minced meat.
- Onions and garlic are peeled off the husk and put it into the blender bowl. Add a little water and crush the components.
- Into a bowl lay out the minced meat (we always use pork-beef one, but you can also any other. It is up to you to decide), add salt, chopped onions and garlic, spices to taste (we are adding khmeli-suneli).
- We pour in milk according to the recipe. For juiciness of minced meat, mix it thoroughly with hands.
- The dough is divided into two parts for easier use. Each part will be rolled into a rectangular layer of 2 mm thick. Carefully cut out the edges.
- At the edge of the dough, we lay out the meat filling: 6-7 centimeters wide. Evenly distribute it and turn the dough into a roll (2-3 layers).
- Cut the resulting roll with a knife, do the next one.
- The resulting rolls are divided into pieces (cut off with a knife) of three centimeters long.
- The resulting dumplings can be cooked all at once, and you can freeze the part in the freezer.
- Into the pot, it is necessary to pour water, to add salt and to bring to a boiling condition.
- Into the boiling water put finely chopped onions, meat dumplings and bay leaf. Mix everything well and cook after boiling for 4-5 minutes.
- Serve these delicious lazy dumplings with broth, adding sour cream, or without it: put a piece of butter and sprinkle with herbs.
