Salad of black beans

Today we are going to make our mostly lean menu a bit different. And here is such a colorful, tasty, useful and flavored salad! It will be suitable for festive table as well as for ordinary family evening. In any case you well be glad to enjoy it.

The level of the spiciness can be regulated to your own taste. Salad of black beans usually becomes a focal point of any event.

List of required products

  • Black beans — 0.5 cups;
  • red Bulgarian pepper — 1 item;
  • mango — 1 item;
  • fresh mint — 1 bundle;
  • peanuts (chopped) — 4 tbsp.;
  • coconut shaving — 3 tablespoons;
  • soy sauce — 2 tbsp;
  • chili pepper — 0.5 item;
  • brown sugar — 2 tsp.;
  • juice and peel — 1 lemon.

Begin to cook


  1. Boil pre-soaked in cold water beans on a low heat for 1 hour. Drain the water, wash the beans with cold water.
  2. Mix the chopped mint, finely chopped chili, soy sauce, sugar, zest and lemon juice. Everything should be crushed a little in a bowl.
  3. Add the peanuts and mix.
  4. Cut Bulgarian paprika and mango into cubes of the size of beans.
  5. Mix all the ingredients, add the beans, mix and serve. When serving, sprinkle the salad with coconut shavings.
