Homemade «Shurpa»

• 500 grams of lamb
• 1 onion
• 1 sweet pepper
• 2 carrots
• 6 potatoes
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 10 gr coriander
• 10 g of dill
• 2 tomatoes
• hot pepper to taste
• salt to taste

Cooking process

1. First of all, we clean the onion and cut it into small cubes. Then we take either a large saucepan or a cauldron of 6-7 liters and fry in vegetable oil the prepared vegetables to a golden color. The fire should be moderate throughout the frying.
2. Well we wash the meat and cut it into slices. Then we send it to the same pan and fry it. Leave the meat lightly stew.
3. We clean carrots and together with sweet pepper cut into strips and place to meat and onions. Then add a half or a whole hot pepper.
4. We wash out tomatoes and cut them in large slices. Then add to the same pan and mix everything well. Then pour hot water so that it takes up a large half of the pan. The next step is to close the pan with a lid and let it simmer over low heat.
5. After the meat is cooked, add the sliced potatoes with large pieces. And then top up the water almost to the top of the pan and bring to boil.
6. When potatoes were cooked, throw a clove of garlic, previously finely chopped. After that, add salt, add spices and herbs, preliminary crushed. Cook for another couple of minutes.
