Low-calorie carrot soup with lentils

We present you a recipe for a delicious low-calorie soup. It is not just delicious, but also contains many useful vitamins. Such soup-puree can be cooked also for children, they just like it. It turns out very fragrant and very satisfying.

List of ingredients

• carrots — 0.3 kg
• onions — 1 pc
• garlic — 3 cloves
• orange lentils — 100 g
• water — 1,2 l
• nutmeg — pinch
• dried thyme — 1 tsp
• basil sliced — 1 tsp
• salt, pepper to taste

Cooking process



1. Peel and cut into circles carrots. Clean garlic and onions into 4 parts.
2. Take the pan, pour water into it and cover the carrots. Cook for 15 minutes, it should become soft.
3. Add lentils, spices, salt, onions and garlic. Cook until the lentils are ready.
4. The resulting soup is poured into a blender and beat. Pour into a saucepan, heat it and serve it to the table, pour 1 tsp. olive oil.
