Low-calorie carrot soup with lentils

This soup is not only delicious, but also very healthy, as it contains lot of vitamins. It is a good option for children and anyone, who likes healthy food.

List of ingredients:

  • carrots — 0.3 kg
  • onions — 1 piece
  • garlic — 3 cloves
  • orange lentils — 100 gr
  • water — 1,2 l
  • nutmeg — pinch
  • dried thyme — 1 tsp
  • basil sliced ​​- 1 tsp
  • salt, pepper to taste

Cooking process

  1. Peel and ring carrots. Peel garlic and onions and cut into 4 parts.
  2. Pour water into the pan and add the carrots. Cook for 15 minutes until they are very soft.
  3. Add lentils, spices, salt, onions and garlic. Cook until the lentils are ready.
  4. Blend the soup. Pour into a saucepan, heat it and serve it to the table, adding 1 teaspoon of olive oil.
