Prawns are a delicious seafood delicacy which goes well with rice and/or roast potatoes. The only bummer is that the degutting process may be a little time consuming, but the meal is worth it nonetheless!
Ingredients
- 500 g king prawns, peeled and degutted (you may do it by yourself)
- 1 cup milk
- 50 g cream cheese
- salt and pepper
- Oil or butter for frying
Marinade:
- lemon juice
- salt and pepper
Cooking Process
- Mix the gutted prawns with the lemon juice and salt and pepper. Let stand for 5 minutes.
- Heat the oil or butter and fry the prawns until well cooked.
- Turn your stove to low heat so as to not get a lumpy sauce.
- Add the cream cheese and milk alternately to the pan with the ready prawns. All the while stirring , until you have a semi thick and creamy consistency of the sauce.
- Serve with roast potatoes, boiled pasta or a side of rice.
- Serve immediately , garnished with parsley sprigs.
Bon Apetite!
