Creamy Prawns

Prawns are a delicious seafood delicacy which goes well with rice and/or roast potatoes. The only bummer is that the degutting process may be a little time consuming, but the meal is worth it nonetheless!


  • 500 g king prawns, peeled and degutted (you may do it by yourself)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 50 g cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil  or butter for frying


  • lemon juice
  • salt and pepper

Cooking Process

  1. Mix the gutted prawns with the lemon juice and salt and pepper. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil or butter and fry the prawns until well cooked.
  3. Turn your stove to low heat so as to not get a lumpy sauce.
  4. Add the cream cheese and milk alternately to the pan with the ready prawns. All the while stirring , until you have a semi thick and creamy consistency of the sauce.
  5. Serve with roast potatoes, boiled pasta or a side of rice.
  6. Serve immediately , garnished with parsley sprigs.
