Spicy pickled garlic

Garlic is one of the healthiest products. It helps to strengthen immunity and perfectly protects against viruses. It also lowers cholesterol and normalizes metabolism. Our garlic recipe is ideal for dinner or simply as a spicy snack. It is made easily with a minimum of products required. There are many varieties of garlic pickling, we will pickle its bulbs. According to our recipe, garlic can be marinated for food immediately or preserved in jars for the winter. The used garlic must be young, with a skin not yet hardened.

List of ingredients

  • garlic — 1 kg
  • water — 0,5 l
  • sugar — 2 tbsp
  • salt — 1 tsp
  • vinegar 6% — 300 gr
  • cloves — 3 pcs
  • horseradish root — 50 gr
  • chili pepper — 1 pc

Getting started


  1. Scald garlic with boiling water and put into a jar.
  2. Prepare the marinade. Take the pan, pour in water, sugar, salt. Put it on the fire and bring it to a boil. Add cloves, horseradish root and vinegar.
  3. Chop the chili pepper.
  4. Take a jar and put garlic and chili pepper into it. Fill with a boiling marinade. Tighten up the jar with the lid and leave it to cool at room temperature. After 2 hours, the garlic can be placed in the refrigerator.
  5. You can try it in 3 days.
