Delicious biscuits from 60’s

Such a simple dessert is prepared in just 15 minutes, and eaten even faster. For cooking, you need only four ingredients, which are always at hand. Try to cook for your close and unexpected guests.

List of ingredients:

  • loaf;
  • any thick jam (I have apple);
  • butter (margarine will not work);
  • granulated sugar.

Cooking process

  1. Before you start cooking, turn on the oven for 200 degrees: it should warm up.
  2. A fresh loaf is cut into slices of 1.5 cm.
  3. Half of the slices are greased with thick jam.
  4. Lubricate the remaining slices with a large amount of butter (margarine or spread for this recipe is not suitable).
  5. Slices, smeared with jam, cover with slices with butter (like a sandwich).
  6. We cut the resulting sandwiches along into three strips approximately equal in width.
  7. In a flat bowl, pour in the sugar.
  8. Cover the baking tray with parchment paper, grease it with a little vegetable oil.
  9. Take a kind of cake, dip it in sugar, put it on a baking tray.
  10. Send the pan to the oven, which we have already heated up to 200 degrees. Bake 7-10 minutes, until golden brown. Since the ovens are all different, after 5 minutes it will be necessary to check the readiness.
  11. Serve dessert with aromatic tea or coffee.
