The shortcakes will be prepared on a frying pan. They turn out to be very delicious and their preparation won’t take much time!
What products to take
- 1 tbsp — soda;
- 600 g — sifted flour;
- 1 can of condensed milk;
- 1 tbsp — vinegar;
- 1 egg;
Custard:
- 1 package — butter;
- 800 ml of milk;
- 3 eggs;
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 1 small bag — vanillin;
- 100 g of walnuts.
Begin to cook
- For the cream preparation we have to whisk the eggs, gradually adding to them the necessary amount of sugar.
- Then add vanilla, flour and whisk it again until it becomes smooth.
- We pour milk in portions, mixing thoroughly.
- We put the container on a moderate fire, bring to a boiling condition, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat, cool to room temperature, add oil and whisk everything again.
- And now it is high time to prepare some dough. First of all we have to whisk the egg.
- Add the condensed milk and soda to the egg. Soda should be hydrated with vinegar.
- Now you can add flour and knead the dough to an elastic condition.
- Divide the dough into 9-10 portions, each one should be rolled out into thin shortcakes.
- Fry them on a frying pan (for one minute from each side).
- Cooled shortcakes are covered with custard and sprinkled with nuts.
- You can decorate the cake with the help of the crumbs from the other shortcakes.
The only thing to do is to soak your cake carefully. For this purpose put into the fridge for 10-12 hours and after that you can taste it. Enjoy!
