We present to your attention the recipe of American cake with red cakes and white cream. It has not only a unique taste, but also a velvet texture. List of ingredients

  • 110 g butter (room temperature)
  • 380 gr of granulated sugar
  • 240 ml of vegetable oil
  • 5 eggs
  • 240 ml of yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 340 gr of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of starch
  • 1 teaspoon of soda
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • half a teaspoon of salt

For cream

  • 450 gr cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 220 g of mascarpone cheese (room temperature)
  • 110 g butter (room temperature)
  • 320 gr of powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Cooking process

  1. Place the butter in a mixer and whisk. Then rinse the sugar and just mix. The mixture should turn out to be lumps.
  2. We pour in the vegetable oil and continue the process.
  3. Separate the yolks from proteins. First, together with a teaspoon of vanilla extract, pour into the prepared mass and whisk thoroughly. Then add kefir and continue the process.
  4. In a separate container, combine one teaspoon of vinegar and food coloring. Then put it in the oil mixture.
  5. In another capacity sifting flour, starch, soda, cocoa and salt. And, with the help of a halo, mix them. Whisk the to foam and add to the dough. Make a homogeneous mass.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  7. Take the form for baking and lubricate with oil. Then sprinkle a little flour. Divide the dough into 3 parts and bake cakes in turn, sending them to the oven for 25-30 minutes each. Check with the toothpick if the product is ready. The main thing is not to overdo it so they do not lose the texture and do not become dry.
  8. Make a cream. Place in a mixer 110 g of butter and whisk. Then, continuing the process, add cream cheese and mascarpone cheese. Make a homogeneous mass. After that, also in small portions rash sugar powder, add the vanilla extract and 2-3 tablespoons of milk. Continue to beat and eventually get a magnificent, smooth cream. Try to taste (if not sweet enough, add sugar powder).
  9. Divide the prepared cream for 4 servings (if you have 3 cakes). Take the first cake and place on a dish, lubricate one part of the cream and repeat the layers until the end. The finished product is watered again with cream and decorated according to your desire and imagination.
