Wontons is a kind of dumplings, which appeared a long time ago in Chinese cuisine. In fact, this dish is a dumpling in the form of a semicircle, which is stuffed with meat, chicken, shrimp, cabbage, mushrooms or fruits, and then fried, cooked or steamed. Wontons can be eaten both hot and cold. They are usually filled with cheese or sour cream sauce with garlic.
Fried wontons are a great idea of tasty and satisfying food for your relatives and friends. The combination of dough with stuffing from chicken breast, corn, red beans and onions will not go unnoticed and unrecognized! List of required products:
- broccoli — 6 items (medium);
- carrots — 1/2 items;
- small onion — 1 item;
- shiitake mushrooms — 200 g;
- sweet red pepper — 1/4 item;
- sweet yellow pepper — 1/4 item;
- rice — 100 g;
- salt, ground pepper, soy sauce, chili — to taste;
- vegetable (you can add sesame) oil — for roasting vegetables;
- cilantro leaves — 30 g;
- garlic — 2 cloves;
- ginger — small slice of 3-5 cm.
- flour — 200 g;
- salt — 1/2 tbsp;
- water (boiling water) — 80 ml;
Begin to cook
- In fact it will be better to use the rice, which was cooked yesterday or boiled in the evening. We have taken canned or already cooked mushrooms. Broccoli are steamed. Vegetables are chopped finely. Preheat the frying pan (preferably wok) and add the oil. We begin to fry the vegetables in the following order: onions are cooked to transparency, then garlic + ginger + chili + cilantro twigs, — for one more minute. Then carrots. After a couple of minutes sweet pepper. Fry until the vegetables become soft. Season with salt and pepper.
- To fried vegetables we add finely chopped mushrooms and broccoli, rice, cilantro leaves and soy sauce. Everything should be mixed thoroughly. We try necessarily, season it if it is required.
- Dough: Sift the flour with salt into a bowl. In the center, we make a hole. Add the boiling water to the hole and mix it with chopsticks (or whatever). When everything has been already stirred, wait for 5 minutes. Let everything become cool. Then we form the dough. We leave for some minutes and after that you can start rolling and creation.
- Finished cans can be fried in oil, but you can steam it as well. Serve with sauce to your own taste. Enjoy!
