Rice soup with red fish

This is a soup, which deserves your attention! Previously it was served only in wealthy houses. Rice soup with red fish turns out to tasty, flavored and has a really refined taste.

It is not difficult to prepare such a dish in accordance with an old Russian tradition. Any red fish is suitable for its preparation. Feel like an aristocrat!

What products to take

  • 4 tbsp. — butter;
  • 600 g of rice;
  • 8 steaks — fish;
  • 2 table. l. — wheat flour;
  • 2 carrots;
  • 2 stems — leeks
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 liter of water;
  • 4-5 potatoes;
  • to taste — spices;
  • parsley;
  • salt;

Begin to cook

  1. We bring the water to a boiling condition, salt it and put there the fish.
  2. After boiling, cook for 15 minutes, remove from the broth.
  3. Peeled carrots together with leeks are chopped and fry until they become soft. Do it in warm butter, please.
  4. Add the flour to the vegetables and stew for 5 minutes.
  5. We cut the potatoes into cubes.
  6. Place the washed rice into boiling broth, boil for about 20 minutes.
  7. Add all the prepared vegetables.
  8. After 5-7 minutes, pour into the broth some cream, season your future dish with spices.
  9. After boiling, remove everything from heat.
  10. Spread the pieces of fish on the plates, pour the soup and add parsley.
