In the season of vegetable abundance the usual meat steaks can be replaced with chopped eggplants.
The recipe is quite simple and does not require much effort or time. Eggplants are cut into slices, beat off, dipped in batter and fried in deep-fried. What could be easier? Steaks from eggplants are a recipe that has become a real discovery for many cooks. A great amount of people loves eggplants very much and cooks them in different ways: but this dish has been quite unknown. The result is terrific indeed, as a dish is just very delicious. List of requested products:
- one medium eggplant;
- 2 fresh chicken eggs;
- wheat flour for breading;
- salt — to taste;
- sunflower refined oil — for frying.
Begin to cook
- Eggplant is peeled. Then we should remove the tails and cut the vegetable into thin slices along. You can do it with a knife, but you may use a special nozzle on the grater.
- Salt your eggplant plates, mix and leave for 10 minutes. Nowadays, as a rule, there are no bitter eggplants: we do this procedure so that during the frying the eggplant is absorbed less oil.
- Into a separate bowl it is necessary to beat two chicken eggs and to mix them thoroughly with a fork until uniform condition.
- Into another plate we pour the flour: we will need it for breading.
- Into the frying pan it is necessary to pour the sunflower refined oil and then to warm it.
- Each plate of eggplant is dipped into an egg, then we roll it in flour and put into a frying pan.
- Fry eggplants from two sides on medium heat until golden brown hint.
- Put the ready steaks onto a plate and serve with the favorite sauce. You can also use fried eggplant to cook rolls.
- We really like to serve eggplants with walnut sauce.
- One hundred gram of sour cream of 20-25% fat is put into a bowl, then we add salt, black pepper, sweet paprika (all to taste). We also add half a teaspoon of dried garlic (you can replace it with fresh garlic, passed through the special garlic press). In the blender grind the peeled walnuts, which we pre-fry on a dry frying pan.
- We combine nuts with sour cream sauce and stir.
