Meat jelly cake with vegetables is unrealistically tasty and very beautiful. Pieces of tender meat, many useful vegetables (cauliflower and broccoli) are the ingredients, which are filled with delicious meat jelly. It is not difficult to prepare such a fabulous snack, and the result is simply amazing.
List of required products:
- one kilogram of beef (flesh on the bone);
- 70 grams of smoked bacon;
- 2 small onions;
- 2 average carrots;
- stems of parsley;
- black peppercorns;
- bay leaf;
- salt — to taste
- 25 grams of gelatin + 150 milliliters of broth;
- 300 grams of cauliflower;
- 350 grams of broccoli;
- 2-3 cloves of garlic;
Begin to cook
- One kilogram of beef meat (it is usually rather fatty flesh on the bone) is poured with two liters of cold water. The pan is put on a strong fire. You have to bring the contents to the boiling condition.
- Here is small tip for you.You can use absolutely any meat: pork, chicken and even poultry.
- After the broth boils, we reduce the fire to a minimum, remove the scum and cook under the lid for two hours.During the preparation process water can not be added: the broth should be very saturated.
- In two hours, add salt to the broth to taste, a few peas of black pepper, a small slice of smoked bacon (you can put smoked ribs instead). There we also lay out peeled onions (whole heads), a couple of peeled and washed carrots, parsley stems, tied with a thread.
- Cover the pan with a lid, and cook all together for one more hour.
- Then add lay leaves, wait for 15 minutes and turn off the fire.
- We take meat and breast with a skimmer, put them into a separate bowl. It should cool down for some time.
- We take all the other ingredients out of the broth and put them away.
- It is desirable to filter the broth.
- 150 milliliters of strained broth is poured into a plate and allowed to cool to room temperature.
- Into a cooled broth we pour 25 grams of gelatin, mix carefully and leave for the time that is indicated on the package.
- Pour some water, add salt and put on the fire.
- At this time we disassemble broccoli and cauliflower on the separate inflorescences.
- Boil cauliflower in boiling water for 5-7 minutes. Broccoli is boiled in boiling water for 10 minutes.
- Cooled meat is chopped very finely or it can be just disassembled into the fibers.
- In the same way we should chop the breast.
- Prepare garlic: 3 cloves are peeled, cleaned and crushed with a knife.
- Well-swelled gelatin is heated in a microwave oven (but not brought to a boiling condition) until all grains completely dissolve.
- Hot gelatin is poured into broth and mixed thoroughly.
- We collect the cake in the baking tray, which should be laid with the food film in advance.
- At the bottom of the mold lay out the meat, sprinkle it with chopped garlic, then arrange the breast pieces.
- We pour the broth. It should slightly cover meat.
- The next layer is represented by the pieces of cauliflower, and between them it is recommended to place the broccoli inflorescences.
- We send the snack cake to the fridge to freeze the first layer of broth: for 20-30 minutes.
- Then pour the remaining broth (pieces of broccoli should appear over the surface a bit), we send the cake to the fridge for the whole night.
- We take out the cake from the mold together with the film, then we remove it.
- We serve such beauty on the table — and we enjoy an unearthly taste.
