Sometimes we want to cook something special, festive and memorable! Such a dish can become such a pork ham in an oven with apple sauce.
This is a delicious appetizer for the holiday, which you can cook even if you are a beginner!
What products to take
- 4 tbsp. — brown sugar;
- 2 kg — ham (pork);
- 5 pieces. — cloves;
- 3 tbsp — liquid honey;
- 1 stick — cinnamon;
- 5 liters — fresh apple juice;
- 5 bay leaves;
- 2 tbsp. olive oil;
- 6 peas — sweet pepper;
- 6 peas — black pepper;
- to taste — salt;
- ground pepper.
Begin to cook
- We take a whole piece of meat, wash it and dry. After that carefully rub everything with pepper and salt.
- We put the ingredients into a bowl, cover with something and put to marinade for 24 hours into the fridge.
- Into the saucepan pour some juice, add bay leaves, two kinds of peppers, a stick of cinnamon and clove.
- Marinade is poured into the ham and everything should be put into the fridge again, but this time for 12 hours.
- Now put the container with a ham on a small fire, wait until it boils and immediately remove from the fire.
- Leave to stand for two hours.
- Put the meat on a baking tray and pour with marinade a little.
- We put everything into an oven heated up to 200 degrees. Bake for one hour.
- Mix olive oil with honey and brown sugar, this mixture should be used for ham covering.
- We set to bake for another half an hour, but already at a temperature of 160 degrees.
- We remove the future dish, cover it with foil and cool it.
To the table we recommend to serve such a wonderful snack with pieces of apples or pineapples. Have a good holiday and a good appetite!
