Such a tasty beef is prepared in the oven according to the old Russian recipe. As a rule, it turns out to be incredibly juicy and soft. It has a very appetizing appearance. I accordance with some specialists’ points of view, it is considered to be a decent decoration of the festive table! In Russia and some countries of Western Europe such meat used to be served with side dishes, sauces and just vegetables.

What products to take

  • 5 tbsp. — vegetable oil;
  • 2 kg — beef on bone;
  • 1 tbsp. — dry garlic;
  • 1 lemon;
  • 1 tbsp. — dried onions;
  • to taste — bay leaf;
  • spices;
  • salt

Begin to cook

  1. Cut the beef, leaving the bones inside, into pieces measuring about 7 cm in diameter.
  2. It is better, if the meat will have small fat layers, so it turns out to be as juicy as it is possible.
  3. In a bowl it is necessary to combine the bay leaf, garlic, spices, onions, and salt.
  4. We pour oil inside and carefully grind everything.
  5. Now take the pieces of beef and carefully rub the prepared mixture into them.
  6. We put the meat into the fridge for 10-12 hours, so that it will be properly marinated.
  7. We take everything out, each piece should be wrapped in foil and put on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake the future dish for 2.5 hours in the oven at the temperature of 120 degrees.
  9. Remove the foil, increase the temperature up to 180 degrees, bake for 10 minutes.
