- 675 g potatoes
- 50 g /2 oz butter or margarine
- 2-3 small onions, sliced into rings
- Chopped parsley to garnish
(Cooking time : 25 minutes, calories: 235 per portion)
1. Peel and cook the potatoes whole in plenty of boiling salted water for 15 minutes.
2. Drain and cool .
3. Slice the potatoes evenly.
4. Fry the potato slices in the butter or margarine until crisp and golden.
5. When 2/3 cooked, add the onion rings and continue cooking until they are softened.
