Sweet and sour cabbage

Everybody knows that cabbage is a product, which may have a great amount of various tastes. Perhaps that is an explanation, why it has so many lovers all over the planet. Today we are going to teach you one special variant. This dish has both sour and sweet taste. Are you ready for such yummy? – As a rule, it is appreciated both by adults and by children.

List of required products:

  • head of Chinese cabbage;
  • 100 g of white radish;
  • garlic — 3 cloves;
  • per 0.5 items of red and green hot pepper;
  • 2 cm of fresh ginger root;
  • bunch of green onions;
  • 2 tbsp. of soy sauce;
  • 5 tbsp. rice vinegar;
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar;
  • 2 tbsp. of salt.

Begin to cook

  1. Shred the cabbage. Cut the radish into strips. Stir vegetables with salt and let them stand for 24 hours. Then drain the liquid, wash cabbage and radish.
  2. Green onions are cut into strips, garlic — into slices. Grate the ginger root. Peppers are chopped. Stir all the vegetables.
  3. Beat soy sauce with vinegar, sugar and 2 tbsp. water. Pour into the salad and stir carefully. Close with the lid and put into the fridge for 1-3 days.
  4. Do you prefer to decorate all your dishes? – Oh, well, this is a beautiful idea for this dish! You can you any greenery you like. Some people give preference to green onion.
